Gymnastics and Cheer Tumbling


Team XSAMA – Gymnastics and Cheer Tumbling Program

Gymnastics is a sport involving the performance of exercises requiring balance, strength flexibility, agility, endurance and control. The movements involved in gymnastics contribute to the development of the arms, legs, shoulders, chest and abdominal muscle groups. Alertness, precision,

daring, self-control and self-discipline are mental traits that can also be developed through gymnastics.

At XSA Martial Arts the students will learn tumbling in skill levels starting at skill level 1 and working their way up to elite level 3.

Some of the skills learned through the Team XSAMA gymnastics program are:

  • Forward Roll

  • Backward Roll

  • Handstands

  • Cartwheels

  • Aerials

  • Front and Back Tucks

  • Punch Front Tuck

  • Front and Back Layouts

  • Fulls

  • As well as many more skills and combinations with these skills


Classes are open to students aged 3 and older. Please ask about restrictions.
